Fairymount Jerky emerged from a simple, yet profound desire to offer a snack that's as nourishing to the body as it is delightful to the palate.

Liam's Story
Shortly after starting a butchers apprenticeship, working full time while studying from home, I was drawn to the idea of making my own jerky.
I love cooking and experimenting with flavours, with a new found passion in Butchery I had found my calling.
What started as a hobby, drying bigger strips of topside in a dehydrator I had modified with a beer carton, to enable me to hang the strips from paper clips in an attempt to replicate traditional South African Biltong.
This new found love quickly evolved into a mission to create a healthy snack option with out the use of preservatives, refined sugars, artificial flavours and ingredients. Just real Australian beef and natural ingredients.
Louise's Story
Despite her fear of sharp knives and a general dislike for cooking, she has a love for gourmet Beef Jerky.
She has been working diligently behind the scenes to help establish this little empire and share our Beef Jerky with everyone.
From handling paperwork to filling packets, she supports Liam every step of the way—even if it’s just to sneak a small taste of the delicious finished product.
